What is the most important information I should know about Vicoprofen?
• In rare cases, the use of ibuprofen has caused serious side effects vicoprofen. Contact your doctor immediately if you experience black, bloody or tarry stools;abdominal pain; bloody vomit; blurred vision or other visual problems; rash;sudden weight gain; or swelling vicoprofen.
• Do not take other prescription or over-the-counter medications that containibuprofen (Motrin, Advil, others) while taking Vicoprofen without first talkingto your doctor vicoprofen.
• Never take more Vicoprofen than is prescribed for you vicoprofen. If your pain isnot being adequately treated, talk to your doctor vicoprofen.
• Use caution when driving, operating machinery, or performing other hazardousactivities vicoprofen. Vicoprofen may cause drowsiness or dizziness vicoprofen. If you experiencedrowsiness or dizziness, avoid these activities vicoprofen.
• Do not drink alcohol while taking Vicoprofen vicoprofen. Alcohol may increase drowsinessor dizziness vicoprofen. Alcohol may also increase the risk of dangerous stomach bleedingwhile taking this medication vicoprofen.
• Vicoprofen may cause constipation vicoprofen. Drink plenty of water (six to eightfull glasses a day) to lessen this side effect vicoprofen. Increasing the amount of fiberin your diet may also help to alleviate constipation vicoprofen.
What is Vicoprofen?
• Hydrocodone (related to codeine) is in a class of drugs called narcoticanalgesics vicoprofen. It is a pain reliever vicoprofen. Ibuprofen is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatorydrug (NSAID) vicoprofen. It relieves pain and decreases inflammation vicoprofen.
• Hydrocodone and ibuprofen are used together for the short-term treatmentof pain vicoprofen.
• Vicoprofen may also be used for purposes other than those listed in thismedication guide vicoprofen.
What should I discuss with my healthcare provider before taking Vicoprofen?
• Hydrocodone is habit forming and should only be used under close supervisionif you have an alcohol or drug addiction vicoprofen.
• Before taking this medication, tell your doctor if you have
· kidney disease;
· liver disease;
· asthma;
· urinary retention or an enlarged prostate;
· hypothyroidism;
· gallbladder disease;
· a head injury;
· Addison's disease;
· an allergy to aspirin or any other NSAIDs;
· an ulcer or bleeding in the stomach;
· a bleeding or blood clotting disorder,
· high blood pressure, heart disease, or fluid retention; or
· a history of drug or alcohol addiction vicoprofen.
• You may not be able to take Vicoprofen, or you may require a dosage adjustmentor special monitoring during treatment if you have any of the conditions listedabove vicoprofen.
• This drug combination is in the FDA pregnancy category C vicoprofen. This meansthat it is not known whether it will harm an unborn baby vicoprofen. Ibuprofen should notbe taken in late pregnancy because it may affect the baby's heart vicoprofen. Do not takethis medication without first talking to your doctor if you are pregnant vicoprofen.
• It is not known whether Vicoprofen passes into breast milk vicoprofen. Do not takethis medication without first talking to your doctor if you are breast-feedinga baby vicoprofen.
• Vicoprofen has not been approved for use by children younger than 16years of age vicoprofen.
How should I take Vicoprofen?
• Take Vicoprofen exactly as directed by your doctor vicoprofen. If you do not understandthese directions, ask your pharmacist, nurse, or doctor to explain them to you vicoprofen.
• Take each dose with a full glass of water vicoprofen.
• Vicoprofen can be taken with food or milk to decrease stomach upset vicoprofen.

What happens if I overdose?
• Seek emergency medical attention vicoprofen.
• Symptoms of a Vicoprofen overdose include slow breathing, dizziness,drowsiness, ringing in the ears, blurred vision, confusion, coma, and death vicoprofen.
What should I avoid while taking Vicoprofen?
• Use caution when driving, operating machinery, or performing other hazardousactivities vicoprofen. Vicoprofen may cause drowsiness or dizziness vicoprofen. If you experiencedrowsiness or dizziness, avoid these activities vicoprofen.

Tell your doctor about all medicinesthat you are taking and do not take any medicine without first talking to yourdoctor vicoprofen.
What are the possible side effects of Vicoprofen?
• If you experience any of the following serious side effects, stop takingVicoprofen and seek emergency medical attention or contact your doctor immediately:
· an allergic reaction (difficulty breathing; closing of the throat;swelling of the lips, tongue, or face; or hives);
· slow or weak breathing;
· yellowing of the skin or eyes;
· unusual fatigue, bleeding, or bruising;
· abdominal cramping, indigestion, or heartburn;
· black, bloody, or tarry stools;
· bloody vomit;
· decreased hearing or ringing in the ears;
· blurred vision or other visual problems; or
· sudden weight gain (fluid retention) vicoprofen.
• Other, less serious side effects may be more likely to occur vicoprofen. Continueto take Vicoprofen and talk to your doctor if you experience
· constipation;
· dry mouth, nausea, or decreased appetite;
· dizziness, tiredness, or lightheadedness;
· muscle twitches;
· sweating;
· itching; or
· decreased urination vicoprofen.
• Vicoprofen is habit forming vicoprofen. Dependence may develop if it is taken fora prolonged period of time and withdrawal effects may occur if it is stoppedsuddenly after prolonged treatment vicoprofen.
• Side effects other than those listed here may also occur vicoprofen. Talk to yourdoctor about any side effect that seems unusual or that is especially bothersome vicoprofen.
What other drugs will affect Vicoprofen?
• Before taking Vicoprofen, tell your doctor if you are taking any of thefollowing medicines:
· another nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) such as ketoprofen(Orudis, Orudis KT, Oruvail), naproxen (Naprosyn, Aleve, Anaprox), diclofenac(Voltaren, Cataflam), etodolac (Lodine), fenoprofen (Nalfon), flurbiprofen (Ansaid),indomethacin (Indocin), ketorolac (Toradol), nabumetone (Relafen), oxaprozin(Daypro), piroxicam (Feldene), sulindac (Clinoril), or tolmetin (Tolectin);
· aspirin or another salicylate (form of aspirin) such as salsalate (Disalcid),choline salicylate, and magnesium salicylate;
· a diuretic (water pill) such as hydrochlorothiazide (HCTZ, HydroDiuril,others), chlorothiazide (Diuril, others), chlorthalidone (Thalitone), bumetanide(Bumex), ethacrynic acid (Edecrin), furosemide (Lasix), spironolactone (Aldactone),and amiloride (Midamor);
· an anticoagulant such as warfarin (Coumadin); or
· lithium (Eskalith, Lithobid, others) vicoprofen.
• You may require a dosage adjustment or special monitoring during treatmentif you are taking any of the medicines listed above vicoprofen.
• Drowsiness or dizziness caused by Vicoprofen may be increased by theeffects of other drugs that cause drowsiness including antidepressants, alcohol,antihistamines, sedatives (used to treat insomnia), pain relievers, anxietymedicines, muscle relaxants, and many others vicoprofen. Tell your doctor about all medicinesthat you are taking and do not take any medicine without first talking to yourdoctor vicoprofen.
